Priestly Ordination Celebration in Tanzania
The Congregation of the Holy Spirit in the Tanzania Region, under the protection of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, together with the Pallottine Congregation, joyfully and respectfully invite all faithful, religious men and women, family members, friends, and well-wishers to a great celebration of priestly ordination on Wednesday 27.5.2026.
With hearts full of gratitude to God, the Church will celebrate the ordination of six beloved deacons who have generously offered their lives in service to Christ and His people. Five of the candidates belong to the Spiritan Congregation, while one candidate belongs to the Pallottine Congregation.
The deacons to be ordained are:
- Deacon Justus Asingizibwe Dominick, C.S.Sp
- Deacon Edward Moshi Simkonda, C.S.Sp
- Deacon Joseph Alphonce Mushi, C.S.Sp
- Deacon Bamaba Joseph Kyara, C.S.Sp
- Deacon Straton Honest Ngowi, C.S.Sp
- Deacon Bartholomeo Florian Paulo, SAC
The Holy Mass for the Priestly Ordination will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Parish Patandi in Arusha. The Eucharistic celebration will be presided over by Bishop Wolfgang Pisa OFM Cap, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Lindi.
This joyful occasion is not only a celebration for the ordinands and their congregations, but also a moment of thanksgiving to God for the precious gift of vocations in the Church. Through these newly ordained priests, the Spiritan and Pallottine congregations continue their mission of evangelization, pastoral care, education, and service to the people of God.
We thank Almighty God for blessing the Church with these vocations and for sustaining the missionary spirit among young people who courageously answer the call to serve. As we celebrate this important milestone, we also continue to pray earnestly for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life, especially within Tanzania and throughout the world.
All are warmly welcome to join us in this great and grace-filled celebration. Your presence and prayers will be a source of encouragement and joy to the newly ordained priests and to the entire Church community.
May God bless all who will participate in this memorable event.t
