Ministry to Indigenous and Nomadic People
Faithful to our Spiritan calling to serve “where the Church has difficulty finding
workers,” we have embraced a special mission among indigenous and nomadic
people. This ministry is a living witness to our commitment to cultural sensitivity,
accompaniment, and empowerment. We walk alongside these communities,
sharing life, respecting traditions, and proclaiming the Gospel in ways that honor
their identity and dignity. Focus group: The Maasai-renowned pastoralists and
guardians of traditional wisdom. The Hadzabe-one of the last remaining hunter-
gatherer groups and the Datoga-skilled agro-pastoralists and craftspeople.
